AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF SALEM, VIRGINIA
On Friday, July 15, 2022, at 7:30 a.m. a special meeting of the Economic Development
Authority of the City of Salem, Virginia, was held in the Johnnie Nash Training Center at the
HopeTree Family Services facility, 860 Mount Vernon Lane, Salem, Virginia. The following
members of the Authority were present: Dave Robbins, Macel Janoschka, Sean Kosmann, Paul
Kuhnel, Cindy Shelor, and Quinn Mongan. Rob Robinson was absent.
There, also present was Wayne Adkins, Business Outreach Coordinator, Tommy Miller,
Director of Economic Development , Crystal Williams, Secretary and Rosie Jordan, Treasurer.
Mr. Miller called the meeting to order at 7:30 a.m.
Mr. Miller gave a presentation that included and overview of business attraction, existing
business, start-ups, workforce, and tourism.
A discussion was held to discuss strategic planning.
There being no further business and the meeting adjourned at 9:17 a.m.
