A.Special Exception P ermit
Hold public hearing to consider the request of J ennifer Wiseman, lessee, and Roanoke Investments
LLC, property owner, for the issuance of a Special Exception Permit to allow a beauty salon and
day spa on the property located at 1200 Electric Road (Tax Map # 230-2-1). (Advertised in the
J anuary 4 and 11 issues of the Salem Times Register. Recommend approval see Page 1 Planning

Consider setting the date for a public hearing in accordance with Section 98-94 of T HE C O DE O F
T HE C IT Y O F SALEM, VIRG IN IA, for the issuance of Certificates of Public Convenience and
Necessity for the next twelve (12) months. (Suggest March 12, 2018).
C.Wireless Communications I nfrastructure Bills
Consider adopting Resolution 1328 regarding wireless communications infrastructure bills HB1258
and SB405. Supplemental Item
D.2017 F ootball State Championship
Consider adopting Resolution 1329 honoring the Salem High School Football team for winning the
2017 Virginia High School League 4A State Championship. Supplemental Item
