A.Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance
Consider ordinance on second reading, the request of J oseph M. Sullivan, property owner, for
rezoning the property located at 124 Fort Lewis Boulevard, (Tax Map # 137-5-7 and 137-5-6) from
HBD Highway Business District to RSF Residential Single Family. (Approved on first reading at
the J une 26, 2017, meeting)
B.Amendment to the City Code
Consider ordinance on second reading amending Chapter 106 Zoning, Article II District
Regulations, Section 106-218(B)(5) Light Manufacturing District, C ommercial Uses and Section
106-220(B)(5) Heavy Manufacturing District, Commercial Uses, and Article III Use and Design
Standards, Section 106-310.19 Commercial Uses, pertaining to microbreweries. (Approved on first
reading at the J une 26, 2017, meeting.)
6.New Business
A.Appalachian P ower Company
Consider approval and authorize the City Manager to execute the amended agreement between
American Electric Power Service C orporation, as agent for Appalachian Power Company, and the
City of Salem.
B.Appropriation of F unds
Consider request to appropriate C DBG Downtown Salem Planning grant carryover funds. Audit -
Finance C ommittee.
C.Boards & Commissions
Consider appointments to fill vacancies on various boards and commissions.
