1. 2009-2010 Budget
Hold public hearing and accept public comment on the budget for
fiscal year 2009-2010. (Advertised in the June 4, 2009 issue of the Salem Times
Register.)
2. Miscellaneous Fees
Consider adopting Resolution 1139 establishing various
miscellaneous fees for fiscal year 2009-2010. (Effective July 1, 2009)
(Continued from May 26, 2009, meeting)
3. Tax Rates, Fiscal Year 2009-2010
Consider ordinance on second reading establishing tax rates for
real estate and personal property. (Passed on first reading, May 26, 2009,
meeting)
4. OPEB Trust Fund
Consider ordinance on second reading establishing the Other Post
Employment Benefits (OPEB) Trust Fund. (Passed on first reading,
May 26, 2009, meeting)
5. Total Action Against Poverty
Consider request for renewal of lease on the Old Norfolk and
Western Railway Passenger Station for Head Start Program for
period July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010.
6. Roanoke College – Afton Apartments Parking Lot
Consider setting bond for erosion and sediment control for the
Afton Apartments Parking Lot project at Roanoke College. (Audit-
Finance Committee)
7. Fire Station #1
Receive report and consider awarding contract for the roof
replacement of Fire Station #1. (Audit-Finance Committee)
8. Boards and Commissions
Consider appointments to fill vacancies on various boards and
commissions.
