1. Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance
Consider ordinance on second reading rezoning the property of
Valley Associates LLC, property owner, located at 1618 West
Main Street (Tax Map # 139-4-5.1) from LM Light Manufacturing
District to HBD Highway Business District. (Passed on first reading
at January 28, 2008 meeting)
2. Amendment to City Code
Consider an ordinance on second reading amending Chapter 106,
Article II, District Regulations, Section 106-320 of THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF SALEM, VIRGINIA pertaining to an urban forest
overlay district. (Passed on first reading at January 28, 2008 meeting)
3. Roanoke Valley Crime Line
Consider request for donation ($100.00) equal to the amount of
sales tax paid in connection with the Oktoberfest event held
October 14, 2007.
4. Amendment to City Code
Consider ordinance on first reading repealing and reenacting
Chapter 34 of THE CODE OF THE CITY OF SALEM, VIRGINIA
pertaining to Fire Prevention and Protection.
5. U. S. Mayors Climate Protection Agreement
Consider adoption of Resolution 1102 endorsing the provisions
of the U. S. Mayors Climate Protection Agreement as amended by
the 73rd annual U. S. Conference.
6. Boards and Commissions
Consider appointments to fill vacancies on various boards and
commissions.
