Hold a closed session according to the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended:
Section 2.2-3711(A) (3) for the discussion or consideration of the acquisition of real property for a public
purpose where discussion in an open meeting would adversely affect the bargaining position or negotiating
strategy of the public body; and
Section 2.2-3711A (5) of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, for discussion concerning a prospective
business or industry or the expansion of an existing business or industry where no previous announcement has
been made of the business’s or industry’s interest in locating or expanding its facilities in the community,
relating to manufacturers constrained on available production space and/or talent; and
Section 2.2-3711A (5) of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, for discussion concerning a prospective
business or industry or the expansion of an existing business or industry where no previous announcement has
been made of the business’s or industry’s interest in locating or expanding its facilities in the community,
relating to a retail operation.
