Consider ordinance on second reading rezoning the property
located at 730 Apperson Drive (Tax Map # 247 – 3 – 3) from
RSF Residential Single Family District to RB Residential
Business District. (Passed on first reading at June 25, 2007
meeting.)
2. Amendment to Zoning Ordinance
Consider ordinance on second reading rezoning an approximate
9.28-acre parcel located on Polar Lane (Tax Map # 10-1-1)
from AG Agricultural District to RSF Residential Single
Family District with proffered conditions. (Passed on first
reading at June 25, 2007 meeting.)
3. Vacation and Closure of Street
Consider ordinance on first reading permanently vacating and
closing Watts Street.
4. Conveyance of Property
Hold public hearing to consider the conveyance of 1.08 acres
(Roanoke County Parcel ID# 055.03-02-10.01-000) of City-
owned property to Koppers, Inc. (As advertised in the June 28,
2007 issue of the Salem Times-Register.)
5. Roanoke College Consider setting bond for physical improvements and erosion
and sediment control for the Roanoke College Residence Hall
project. (Audit-Finance Committee)
6. Alouf Office Building #2
Consider setting bond for physical improvements and erosion
and sediment control for the Alouf Office Building #2
project. (Audit-Finance Committee)
7. Boards and Commissions
Consider appointments to fill vacancies on various boards
and commissions.
