1. Mayor’s Youth Council
Recognize the Mayor’s Youth Council graduates and receive update on the Mayor’s
Youth Council projects.
2. Budget for 2006-2007
Consider ordinance on second reading adopting the Budget for the fiscal year
2006-2007 budget. (Passed on first reading May 22, 2006, and to become effective July 1,
2006.)
3. Tax Rates for 2006-2007
Consider ordinance on second reading reaffirming tax rates for Real Estate and
Personal Property. (Passed on first reading May 22, 2006, and to become effective July 1,
2006.)
4. Sewer Rates
Consider ordinance on second reading amending the sewer rates in the City of Salem
for fiscal year 2006-2007. (Passed on first reading May 22, 2006, and to become effective
July 1, 2006.)
5. Total Action Against Poverty in the Roanoke Valley
Receive request for renewal of lease on the Old Norfolk and Western Railway
Passenger Station for Head Start Program for the period July 1, 2006, through
June 30, 2007.
6. Atlantic Companies Building (Branch Development LLC)
Consider releasing the City’s Option to repurchase the subject property as contained in
the original Deed of Conveyance.
