1. Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare
Consider request to approve Amended and Restated Bylaws. (Continued from February 14, 2005,
meeting.)
2. Interstate 81 Task Force
Receive presentation from Gerald Pace, Chairman of the Interstate 81 Task Force Committee, regarding
the Committee’s recommendations for improvements to Interstate 81. (Continued from February 28, 2005,
meeting.)
3. Subdivision Ordinance
Consider ordinance on second reading amending Chapter 78, Subdivisions, of The Code of the
City of Salem, Virginia. (Passed on first reading at February 28 meeting.)
4. Zoning Ordinance
Consider ordinance on second reading amending Chapter 106, Zoning, of The Code of the City of
Salem, Virginia. (Passed on first reading at February 28 meeting.)
5. Taxicabs
Hold public hearing in accordance with Section 98-94 of The Code of the City of Salem, Virginia,
and consider issuance of Certificates of Public Convenience and Necessity for the next 12
months, beginning April 1, 2005. (Date set for public hearing at January 24 Council meeting. Advertised in
Salem Times-Register February 17, 2005.)
6. 2004-2005 Mid-Year Budget Amendments
Hold public hearing and consider amending 2004-2005 budget. (Audit-Finance Committee; advertised in
the March 10, 2005, Salem Times-Register.)
7. Elevator – Salem Football Stadium
Receive report and consider awarding contract for an elevator at the Salem Football Stadium.
(Audit-Finance Committee.)
8. Zoning Fees
Consider adopting Resolution 1050 amending miscellaneous fees. (Audit-Finance Committee.)
9. Boards and Commissions
Consider appointments to fill vacancies on various boards and commissions.
10. Closed Session
Consider request of City Manager to hold a closed session pursuant to provisions of Section 2.2-3711 A (3)
of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, to discuss property the City may wish to sell.
