Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Receive plaque from Brigadier General Jim White and Salem Police Chief James R. Bryant on behalf of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). 2. Mayor’s Youth Council Induction ceremony for newly elected members and representatives of the Mayor’s Youth Council, and recognize graduating members. Also give an update on projects the Council has been working on. 3. 2005-2006 Budget Hearing Hold public hearing and receive citizen input for the 2005-2006 budget. (Advertised in May 19, 2005, Salem Times-Register.) 4. 2005-2006 Budget Adoption Consider ordinance on first reading adopting the budget for fiscal year 2005-2006. 5. Water Rates Consider ordinance on first reading amending the water rates in the City of Salem. (Effective July 1, 2005.) 6. Sewer Rates Consider ordinance on first reading amending the sewer rates in the City of Salem. (Effective July 1, 2005.) 7. Water Connection Fees Consider ordinance on first reading amending the water connection fees. (Effective July 1, 2005.) 8. Sewer Connection Fees Consider ordinance on first reading amending the sewer connection fees. (Effective July 1, 2005.) 9. Tax Rates Consider ordinance on first reading establishing tax rates for Real Estate and Personal Property. (Effective July 1, 2005.) 10.
